High Speed Internet Access
Complying with worldwide ADSL standards, the DCE 5204A-NRD supports downstream data transmission rates up to 12/24 Mbps with ADSL2/2+, 8 Mbps with ADSL, and performs at upstream rates of up to 1 Mbps. Even more utilizing the 5204A-NRD Annex M technology that supports the latest ADSL2/2+ standard for higher upload speeds by increasing the upstream operation rate to approximately 2.5Mbps (up to 3Mbps under optimum conditions). Using the state of the art technology incorporated into the 5204A-NRD, you can enjoy even higher-speed broadband multimedia applications such as interactive gaming, real-time audio, and video streaming that runs faster and easier than ever.
150mbps Wireless Access
The 5204A-NRD incorporates an integrated Wireless-N Wireless Access Point that supports up to 150Mbps wireless operational rate. Your wireless connection is truly improved when compared to the 802.11g standard, yet this router can seamlessly switch compliance with 802.11b/g network devices. You'll rest easy knowing that your 5204A-NRD uses Wireless Protected Access (WPA-PSK / WPA2-PSK) and Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) features to enhance the level of transmission security and access control over your Wireless LAN.
Robust Firewall Security and QoS
The 5204A-NRD NAT default firewall has an advanced anti-hacker pattern-filtering protection feature Denial of Service (DoS) that can automatically detect and block attacks. In addition, Packet Filtering provides high-level security for access control. The 5204A-NRDs built-in Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) enables users to determine whether a data packet is allowed to pass through the firewall to the private LAN. Quality of Service Controls prioritizes the traffic and allows users to enjoy smooth traffic flow while running applications such as P2P or multimedia over the Internet.
Simplified Network Management
A user-friendly web-based user interface makes installing, configuring and managing the 5204A-NRD extremely simple. With support for both DHCP client and server, system administrators can manage IP assignments without having to reconfigure other stations and integrate the router into existing network environments is a snap!

* Notes:
1. This router may require firmware modification for certain ADSL2/2+/Annex M DSLAMs.
2. Actual throughput and performance depends on the surrounding environment. Normally, the wireless speed is faster if you are closer to the router.
The farther from the router you are, the greater the wireless range, and slower speeds can be expected.
