Tone Commander TSG-6 IP phones meet the stringent requirements specified in the CNSS (Committee on National Security Systems) Instruction No. 5000 and 5001. They have been tested for compliance and approved by the National Telecommunications Security Working Group. TSG-6 Class A versions are not dependent on any other equipment for on-hook security. They may be used in standalone applications within a secure area. The Class B version must be connected to an Ethernet switch collocated within the SCIF.
To meet TSG requirements, special positive-disconnect circuitry and ultra-low-emissions technology ensures that no microphonic audio signals are produced on any wires leaving the phone when it’s on-hook.
It is designed for universal SIP compliance and has been certified on Tone Commander, Redcom, NEC, Genband, Unify, and Avaya platforms, and field tested on Cisco, Asterisk, and Broadsoft platforms.
Tone Commander TSG-6 products meet the requirements of the Intelligence Community Technical Specification ICD/ICS 705 for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), prepared by the National Counterintelligence Executive, which replaced DCID 6/9.
Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL) approval of Tone Commander 7810 TSG-6 IP Phones as voice only, non-secure Assured Services Session Initiation Protocol (AS-SIP) End Instruments (AEI) has been granted under Tracking Number (TN) 1310601.
