Description

The Data Connect Fast Poll Industrial grade leased line modem is the highest performance point-to-point and multi-point modem in the industry. The modem offers the fastest training time of 17.4 ms (RTS-CTS delay) over voice- band leased line or private circuits. It can perform polling functions much faster than conventional leased line modems.

The multi-speed  IG192HFP Fast Poll modem is now offered in dest-top, DIN rail Mounting, or rack-mount configurations. the modem is ideal for multi-point communication applications including SCADA systems, RTUs, traffic monitor and control, industrial automation networks. The IG192HFP supports RTUs with an EIA RS-232 and RS-485 serial port at speeds of 19200, 9600, 4800, 2400, and 0-1800 bps.

The IG192HFP Fast Poll modem is designed to operate over 4-wire full duplex or 2-wire half duplex unconditioned leased lines or private metallic circuits. for optimum performace, the modem employs QAM modulation, Viterbi coding scheme and FSK modulations to communicate over a variety of transmission lines.
