Overview

Patton's high speed, miniature serial to parallel converters take the capabilities of our Model 2025 Series and boost them to serial data rates of 115.2 kbps! These tiny converters support auto-directional data conversion and can handle either hardware or X-On/X-Off handshaking-yet they require no AC power or batteries for operation. These converters automatically orient themselves for serial-to-parallel or parallel-to-serial data conversion. Other parameters-data rate, flow control, parity and word length-are set by externally accessible DIP switches.
